Three Bean Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 oz.) red kidney beans
  • 1 can (16 oz.) cut green beans
  • 1 can (16 oz.) cut wax beans
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 c. cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

    Drain beans.

    Rinse well and drain again.

    Combine beans, onion and green pepper in a large bowl.

    Combine vinegar and remaining ingredients, stirring until well blended.

    Add to bean mixture, tossing lightly to mix well.

    Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours.
