Ingredients
- 1 c. cornmeal (coarse grnd works best)
- 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/2 c. unbleached white flour
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. honey or possibly molasses
- 1/4 c. oil
- 3 c. lowfat milk
Directions

1Combine dry ingredients.

2Combine wet ingredients.

3Mix together.

4Mix will be quite watery.

5Pour into greased pan.

6Bake about 50 min at 350 degrees or possibly till top is springy when gently touched.

7(One batter makes 3 layers.

8The cornmeal settles.

9The bran rises.

10In the middle is an egg-custard layer.

11This tastes wonderful warm, room temperature or possibly cool the next morning.)
