Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. uncooked rice
  • 1/4 c. cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 3/4 c. hot water
  • 1/4 oz. can mushrooms

Directions

    Combine beef, onion, rice, cracker crumbs, milk, salt, pepper and seasoning.

    Mix well.

    Shape into balls; brown on all sides. Add soup which has been diluted with water.

    Cover and simmer about 1 1/4 hours.

    Remove from heat.

    Add mushrooms.

    Bring to boil and serve with mashed potatoes and green beans.
