Ingredients

  • 1 c. margarine, softened
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. pecans, finely chopped
  • 2 1/4 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
  • 1 c. powdered sugar

Directions

    Cream margarine and sugar. Add flavoring, flour and nuts. Chill in freezer for 30 minutes.

    Roll into small balls and put on ungreased cookie sheet.

    Put thumbprint into ball.

    Cook at 275° for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly brown.

    Cool.

    Put icing in middle. Use any flavor icing.
