- 3 medium turnips, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces (about 1 pound)
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

2Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; toss with olive oil. Spread turnip mixture evenly in a jelly roll pan.
