  • Small bundle fresh thyme
  • 1 cup sugar

Directions

    Add 1 cup water and thyme to a small saucepan, and bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat, and allow to simmer for 15 minutes.

    Add sugar, and stir until it dissolves.

    Remove from heat.

    Allow to cool for 20 minutes, then strain.

    Discard thyme.

    Refrigerate syrup immediately.
