- 1 yeast cake
- 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 c. lukewarm water
- vegetable oil (for frying)
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water. Add flour and salt.

2Mix with spoon and let rise for 1 hour.

3Drop by tablespoons in hot oil (375°). Fry until golden brown, turning once.

4Drain on paper towel. Dust with confectioners sugar before serving.
