Ingredients

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 Tablespoon Ground Ginger
  • 12 ounces, weight Butter-Flavored Crisco
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1/4 cups Molasses

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    Mix flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and ginger together and set aside.

    Cream Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and molasses, mix well. Slowly add flour (I add it in 2 batches) and mix well after each addition.

    Use a small cookie scoop and drop on parchment-lined cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes and cool on pan for 5 minutes and transfer to rack and let cool completely.
