  • 1/2 c. light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pinch of salt

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add egg and blend in flour and salt; add vanilla and stir well.

    Drop 1/2 teaspoon into greased tin. Bake at 375° until done (light brown around edge).

    Decorate with nuts, cherries or colored sugar.
