Ingredients

  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate
  • 3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 c. bourbon
  • 2 1/2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 c. nuts, finely chopped

Directions

    Melt semi-sweet chocolate over hot, not boiling, water.

    Add corn syrup and bourbon.

    Combine crushed vanilla wafers, powdered sugar and nuts.

    Add to chocolate mixture and mix well.

    Let stand 30 minutes.

    Form 1-inch balls.

    Roll in granulated sugar.

    Let crisp in covered container at least several days.

    Makes about 4 1/2 dozen.
