  • 1 slice bread
  • 1 egg
  • Butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

    Butter each side of bread, make hole in bread about 1-1/2-inches in diameter (about the size of the yolk).

    Place bread on hot, buttered skillet, crack egg into the hole.

    Either break yolk or turn to make over easy.

    Season, Brown, Serve.
