Toasted Chickpeas

Ingredients

  • 2 can (15 oz.) chickpeas (4 cups) rinsed and drained
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 spices of your choice
  • 1 salt (to taste)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 375F.

    In a medium bowl combine chickpeas with olive oil and all your favorite spices.

    I used paprika, garlic powder, Cumin, and salt.

    Mix well so as to coat chickpeas.

    Evenly spread them out on a foil lined cookie sheet,

    Toast for 20 minutes first, then shake cookie sheet gently to redistribute the little guys.

    Toast for another 20-25 minutes.

    Remove from oven.

    Put in a glass or metal bowl.

    Taste test...if you think that you need more salt or any other spices, now is a good time to add them and stir well.
