  • 1 c. chopped nuts (almonds, pecans or walnuts - walnuts are best)
  • 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. milk chocolate chips

Directions

    Lightly oil a cookie sheet and spread chopped nuts over oil. Melt butter in non-stick skillet.

    Add brown sugar and stir well. Boil mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 7 minutes. Pour over nuts immediately.

    Pour milk chocolate chips over toffee; place cookie sheet or lid on top until chocolate melts. Spread chocolate evenly.

    Allow to cool then break into pieces.
