- 2 sticks butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 oz. milk chocolate chips or pieces
- chopped pecans
Directions

1Cut butter into 4 pieces and add 1 at a time after each is melted.

2Add sugar, water, syrup and salt.

3Stir constantly.

4Cook to hard crack stage (295°) or until color of brown paper bag. Pour onto buttered cookie sheet about 3/4 full.

5Break up or sprinkle chocolate chips or pieces on top and spread as it melts. Sprinkle with finely chopped pecans.
