- 1/4 c. lo-cal margarine
- 1/2 c. corn syrup (Karo light)
- 2 Tbsp. honey
Directions

1Combine ingredients in a small, heavy saucepan.

2Boil up, stirring constantly.

3Boil up several times until mixture nearly burns.

4Immediately pour into molds, i.e. ice cube trays or candy/lollipop molds.

5Soak the empty saucepan in hot, soapy water.

6Pick the hardened toffee out of the molds (around edges) and cool.

7Add flavors/spices: orange/tangerine pulp, half margarine/half peanut butter, etc.

8If liquified, boil over extra or you'll get caramel instead of hard candy.
