- 1/2 lb. butter (not margarine)
- 1 sleeve saltines
- 1 pkg. chocolate chips
Directions

1Melt butter, add sugar and boil 2 minutes.

2Preheat oven to 350°.

3Pour sugar mixture over saltines that have been placed on foil-lined jelly roll pan.

4Do not stack saltines, place them side by side.

5Bake 10 to 12 minutes.

6Do not brown.

7Remove from oven. Pour morsels over, they will melt.

8Spread evenly.

9Cool.
-
10Crack into bite size pieces.
