- 1/2 c. unsalted butter, or butter flavor Crisco
- 1 c. packed light brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. Heath bar chips

1Parchment paper is required to bake the cookies on.

2These cookies are famous for sticking otherwise.

3Preheat oven at 375°. Cream butter and add sugar, vanilla and egg; beat until light. Add sifted dry ingredients and Heath chips.

4Drop by 1/2 tsp on parchment paper covered cookie sheet.

5Bake on parchment paper about 5 to 8 minutes.

6Cool about 1/2 minute, remove to wax paper to cool further.

7Makes about 5 to 8 dozen.

8Store in airtight container.
