   Cream brown sugar, egg yolk and margarine.

   Add flour.

   Spread in ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.

   Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips.

   Let them soften, then spread them evenly.

   Sprinkle with nuts if desired.
