  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 lb. melted chocolate (large Hershey bar)
  • 1 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Cream the butter; add sugar gradually. Blend in egg yolk, vanilla, salt and flour. Press into greased 10 x 15 x 1-inch pan. Bake at 350° about 20 minutes. Spread while hot with melted chocolate. Sprinkle with nuts. Cool, but cut while warm.
