  • 1 block (about 14 Oz. Block) Tofu
  • 3 Tablespoons Peanut Oil
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1/4 cups Cold Water
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 whole Egg, Beaten
  • 2 Tablespoons Green Onion, Chopped
  • 1 cup Jasmine Rice

Directions

    Cut the block of tofu into 1-inch cubes.

    In a skillet, heat peanut oil. Stir fry tofu on one side, add salt, then flip on the other side; add salt and cook until golden brown.

    In a bowl whisk corn starch and cold water. Add sesame oil and soy sauce. Add it to the tofu, stir, cover with a lid and let cook for a few seconds or until dense. Add the beaten egg, stir around. Last, add some green onions.

    Serve on a bed of warm rice.
