  • pastry for two-crust pie
  • 1 1/3 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 lb. cubed tofu
  • 1 c. sliced carrots
  • 1 c. sliced celery
  • 1 c. frozen peas
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. sage
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 c. oil

Directions

    Toss the cubes of tofu in a mix of 1 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon garlic, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.

    Brown the coated cubes in oil.

    When crispy, add the veggies and cook over medium heat until carrots are soft.
