- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 3 tbsp chilled butter, chopped
- 2/3 cup grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp finely chopped rosemary, plus extra sprigs to serve
- 1 cup milk
- 8 None cherry tomatoes
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.

2Sift the flour into a large bowl. Using your fingertips, rub in the butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Stir in 1/3 cup of the cheese and chopped rosemary and season to taste. Stir in the milk until the dough just comes together.

3Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured work surface. Knead lightly then divide into 8 even pieces. Shape each piece into a ball. Transfer the balls to the prepared pan, positioning them fairly closely together.

4Sprinkle the rolls with the remaining 1/3 cup cheese. Press a tomato into the center of each roll. Scatter the rosemary sprigs over the rolls.

5Bake for 25-30 mins, until the rolls are golden and the bottoms sound hollow when tapped.
