Ingredients
- 4 or 6 slices bacon
- 6 or 7 eggs
- 1 qt. tomatoes
- salt, black pepper and paprika
Directions

1Fry bacon until crisp.

2Set aside.

3Drain most of juice off tomatoes.

4Add to skillet and if whole, mash slightly.

5Salt and pepper to taste.

6Crumble bacon and add to tomatoes.

7Cook 10 to 15 minutes.

8Pour into a rather shallow baking dish.

9Carefully break the eggs and drop into the tomatoes, one at a time.

10With a tablespoon, gently ease (from underneath) down into the tomatoes. Sprinkle each egg with paprika.

11Bake in 300° oven until egg yellows are firm.
