- 1 lb. beef cubes
- 2 Tbsp. seasoned flour
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato soup
- 1 soup can water
- 6 small whole onions
- 6 carrots, cut up
- 4 potatoes, quartered
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
Directions

1Shake meat with seasoned flour in plastic bag.

2Brown meat in shortening in Dutch oven or stew pot.

3Add soup and water; cover. Simmer 1 1/2 hours.

4Add remaining ingredients.

5Cover.

6Cook 1 hour or until vegetables are tender.

7Stir occasionally to thicken.

8Uncover and cook to desired consistency.
