- 1 1/2 c. onion
- 2 minced cloves garlic
- 4 c. (1 1/2 lb.) chopped cabbage
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 4 c. (2 1/2 lb.) crushed tomatoes
- 1 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1In a large soup kettle, cook garlic, onion and cabbage in oil over low heat, stirring, until softened.

2Add flour and stir and cook 3 minutes.

3Add tomatoes, water and seasonings.

4Salt to taste.

5Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer one hour.
