- 2 heaping Tbsp. flour
- 6 Tbsp. grease
- salt and pepper
- 3 c. water
- 6 to 8 large tomatoes, peeled and diced
Directions

1Brown flour in bacon grease; it doesn't need to be very dark. Add water, tomatoes, salt and pepper.

2Simmer in iron skillet about 45 minutes.

3Add more water if necessary.

4This gravy is delicious over grits or with biscuits.

5I have used canned tomatoes so it doesn't have to cook as long.
