- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. tomato sauce
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 c. dried bread (drier the better), cubed and crusts removed
- 1/2 c. melted butter
Directions

1Put dried bread cubes in deep casserole.

2Pour melted butter over them.

3Set aside.

4Combine brown sugar, tomato puree and water.

5Bring to a boil, simmer for 5 minutes and pour the mixture over the bread cubes.

6Bake 45 minutes in 350° oven until the top puffs and browns.

7Serve immediately!
