  • 3 jalapeno peppers
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 small garlic clove
  • 1 tsp. cilantro
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large can whole tomatoes
  • 2 tsp. lime juice

Directions

    Finely chop onion, garlic, cilantro and jalapeno peppers (for a sauce that is less hot, remove seeds from the peppers before chopping).

    Mix together and add the tomatoes, lime juice, salt and pepper.

    Mix well until the tomatoes are partially liquified, but lumpy.

    For a smoother salsa, put all ingredients in a blender and blend into a smooth consistency.

    Keep salsa in refrigerator for 2/3 hour before serving.
