- 12 large ripe tomatoes
- 2 large onions
- 2 large green bell peppers
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. distilled white vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- cayenne pepper to taste
Directions

1Peel and chop tomatoes and onions.

2Remove seeds from peppers and chop.

3Combine all ingredients in a large kettle and simmer for 1 hour or until thick.

4Pack into hot sterilized jars.

5Seal. Process for 5 minutes.

6Makes 6 half-pints.
