  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1/2 cups Onion, Diced
  • 1 clove Garlic, Diced
  • 4 cups Vegetable Or Chicken Broth
  • 28 ounces, weight Canned Plum Tomatoes, Undrained
  • 1 Tablespoon Basil
  • 1/2 teaspoons Sugar
  • 1/2 Tablespoons Ground Pepper

Directions

    In a large pot, add butter, onion and garlic, saute for about 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.

    With an immersion blender, blend until creamy.
