  • 5 lbs tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • 12 teaspoon mild Tabasco sauce
  • salt & pepper
  • 5 ounces tomato paste

Directions

    Boil water to dip tomatoes.

    Wash tomatoes.

    Dip in boiling water 30 to 60 seconds.

    Immediately dip in cold water.

    Slip off skins.

    Trim away any green areas & stems.

    Cut tomatoes add to crock pot and add all ingredients.

    Cook on high for 4 hours.

    Strain seeds and pulp out and return to crock pot.

    Cook for 2 hours.

    Serve with a side of rice or toasted cheese sandwitch.
