- 8 slices French bread
- 13 cup olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves (crushed)
- 1 cup minced onion
- 1 cup milk
- 28 ounces whole canned tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon basil
Directions

1Preheat oven 350ْ.

2Combine 1/3 cup olive oil and one crushed garlic clove.

3Brush slices of bread with mixture.

4Cut bread into cubes.

5Bake for 5-10 minutes.

6Saute minced onion, two crushed garlic cloves and 1/2 teaspoons Salt.

7Cook and stir on medium-low heat for 10 minutes.

8Puree can of whole peeled tomatoes and the cooked onions and garlic in a blender until smooth.

9Pour pureed mix into sauce pan.

10Heat slowly, stir occasionally.

11When warm add milk slowly.

12Add 1/2 basil on top.
