- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 28 ounces canned tomatoes
- 5 cups chicken broth
- 12 cup uncooked oatmeal
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground basil
- 14 teaspoon black pepper
- 14 cup skim milk
Directions

1Saute garlic and onion in olive oil in a large pot.

2Add remaining ingredients except milk.

3Cook 20-30 min if using canned tomatoes.

4For fresh tomatoes cook 30-60 minutes.

5Add milk.

6Puree with hand blender.
