  • 1 (46 oz.) can tomato juice
  • 3 beef bouillon cubes
  • fresh ground pepper
  • 4 dashes leaf basil
  • 3 dashes ground cloves
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce with chunks and onion
  • 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 bay leaf
  • 2 or 3 pkg. Equal (experiment)

Directions

    Put all in a crock-pot for 3 to 4 hours to really mix the flavors (or mix everything and leave it overnight in a closed container in the refrigerator and then heat as needed).
