- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. grated lemon rind
- 1 can condensed tomato soup
- 1/2 c. golden raisins
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
Directions

1Sift flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg on waxed paper.

2Sprinkle 1/4 cup of flour mixture over raisins and nuts. Beat egg, butter and sugar in a bowl with mixture until fluffy. Combine tomato soup and lemon rind.

3Add remaining flour mixture to butter mixture, beat until smooth.

4Stir in raisins and nuts. Spoon into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan.

5Bake in moderate oven at 350° for 1 hour or until center springs back.

6Let it cool in pan for 10 minutes.

7Then wrap it in plastic wrap until it's served.
