- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 pkg. corn muffin mix or cornbread mix
- 1 c. shredded sharp process American cheese
- 1 tsp. celery seed
Directions

1Cook onion in butter just until tender, but not brown. Prepare the mix according to package directions.

2Spread batter on greased 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.

3Sprinkle cheese evenly over batter; dot onion-butter mixture over all.

4Sprinkle with celery seed.

5Bake at 375° about 20 minutes.
