- 2 lbs ground lean pork
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 teaspoon mace
- 2 chopped garlic cloves
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 -2 tablespoon cornstarch
Directions

1In skillet, brown ground pork.

2Drain fat.

3Add the onions, garlic, salt and pepper, mace and water.

4Cover and simmer for approximately 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5Add cornstarch and continue to cook until no raw taste.

6Fill pastry lined pie plate with meat filling, top with pastry and crimp edges to seal. Cut slits in top.

7Bake and serve with gravy.
