Trifle Cake

Directions

   Bake a devil's food cake.

   Completely cool and cut into strips.

   Mix up chocolate pudding.

   Using a large bowl, put layer of cake strips in bottom of bowl.

   Cover cake strips with chocolate syrup.

   Next, put a layer of chocolate pudding, then a layer of nuts and a layer of Cool Whip.

   Start completely over, ending with Cool Whip.

   Swirl top with chocolate syrup, chopped nuts and top with cherries.
