Ingredients: 2 1/2 c. flour; 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder; 1 1/4 c. sugar; 1/2 tsp. soda; 1 tsp. salt; 1 tsp. cinnamon; 1/4 tsp. each cloves, nutmeg and allspice; 2/3 c. melted butter; 1/3 c. molasses; 2/3 c. mashed bananas (2 or 3 bananas); 3 eggs; 1/2 c. milk

2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. each cloves, nutmeg and allspice
2/3 c. melted butter
1/3 c. molasses
2/3 c. mashed bananas (2 or 3 bananas)
3 eggs
1/2 c. milk

Directions

Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar, soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and allspice in bowl.

Add butter, molasses and bananas and mix 2 minutes.

Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.

You can sprinkle sugar on top of cake before baking for a crisp topping or ice after baking.
