  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons freshly grated lime zest
  • 1 cup cold Land O Lakes Butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/3 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 Land O Lakes Eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 teaspoons freshly grated lime zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Directions

    Heat oven to 350F.

    Combine 2 cups flour, 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 2 teaspoons lime zest in bowl; cut in butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

    Press onto bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan.

    Bake 20-22 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.

    Combine all filling ingredients except almonds and powdered sugar in bowl; mix well.

    Spread over hot, partially baked crust; sprinkle with almonds.

    Continue baking 23-28 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.

    Sift powdered sugar over cooled bars.
