- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. nuts, finely chopped
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Armagnac, brandy or Chambord
Directions

1In double boiler, or microwave, melt 1 cup (6 ounces) chocolate chips with butter.

2Add remaining ingredients.

3Line cookie sheets with foil or waxed paper.

4Roll mixture into balls the size of walnuts.

5Place on cookie sheet.

6Chill until firm. Melt remaining 1 cup chocolate chips and use to dip and coat each completely.

7Put back on waxed paper to set by chilling in refrigerator.

8Can decorate with white chocolate by melting and drizzling over each individual truffle.
