- 1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. cream of chicken soup
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 (12 1/2 oz. or 9 1/4 oz.) can tuna, drained
- 1 1/2 c. Minute rice
- 2 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 1/3 c. toasted slivered almonds (optional)
- 1 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Melt margarine in large skillet (medium-high heat).

2Add onion.

3Cook until tender, not browned.

4Stir in vegetables, milk, soup and pepper.

5Bring to boil.

6Stir in tuna, rice and parsley. Cover.

7Remove from heat.

8Let stand 5 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.

9Add almonds, if desired.
