  • 2 (13 oz.) cans light tuna, drained
  • 3 c. broccoli, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. sherry
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 14 oz. chicken broth
  • 1 to 2 c. fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 1 qt. half and half

Directions

    Saute broccoli, onion and garlic in 2 tablespoons butter until broccoli is crisp.

    Add sherry, butter, salt, basil and flour. Mix and melt.

    Add chicken broth.

    Stir in mushrooms and simmer 15 minutes.

    Add half and half and warm to serve.
