Tuna Chowder

  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 1/2 tsp. flour
  • 3 dashes Tabasco
  • 3 Tbsp. water
  • 5 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans chunk light tuna

Directions

    Mix salt, flour, Tabasco and water in a large saucepan. Gradually stir in milk and butter.

    Drain all oil from only 1 can of tuna.

    Add both cans tuna to milk mixture.

    Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until hot.

    Turn off heat, cover pan and let pan remain on burner for 10 minutes.

    Makes 4 to 5 servings.
