Ingredients

  • 2 (7 oz.) cans tuna, drained and flaked
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. melted margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 c. finely chopped celery
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice

Directions

    Mix all ingredients well.

    Spoon into a greased loaf pan. Bake in 375° oven until firm and lightly browned (about 45 minutes).

    Unmold and serve hot, plain or with mushroom sauce or chilled and sliced for salad.
