  • 1 (6 oz.) can tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1 (12 oz.) can sliced white potatoes
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3/4 c. American cheese, grated
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • bread crumbs (optional)

Directions

    Arrange in layers beginning with potatoes in a 2-quart baking dish:

    potatoes, tuna, onion and cheese; repeat until all are used.

    Pour soup over mixture.

    Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes. May be topped with bread crumbs.
