Tuna Spinach Braid

Ingredients
- 1 (14 oz.) can chopped spinach, well drained
- 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna, well drained and flaked
- 1 c. cream-style cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. garlic
- 1 (18 oz.) tube refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 c. Mozzarella cheese
Directions

1Combine spinach, tuna, cottage cheese and garlic; set aside. Unroll crescent rolls onto floured board; do not separate.

2Press to seal seams (perforations).

3Lightly flour top and roll to form 14 x 10-inch rectangle.

4Transfer to 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan. Spread filling down center of dough lengthwise in 3 1/2-inch strip. Top with cheese.

5Make cuts in dough at 1-inch intervals on both sides of rectangle almost to edge of filling.

6Fold dough strips diagonally over filling, overlapping strips and alternating from side to side.

7Top will look braided.

8Bake at 375° for 18 to 20 minutes.

9Serves 4 to 6.
