- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 medium apple, peeled cored and shredded
- 34 teaspoon dried sage
- 18 teaspoon pepper
- 3 whole wheat pita bread, cut in 1/2

1In a large skillet, heat oil and cook turkey until lightly browned.

2Add apple, sage and pepper and cook, stirring often for 4-5 minutes.

3Divide turkey into 6 portions.

4Spoon into each pita half.
