Turkey Breast With Pineapple

  • 1 whole turkey breast with about 1200 kg
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 4 1/4 tablespoons butter
  • 5/8 cup pineapple juice fresh
  • 7/8 cup port wine
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1/2 pineapple
  • butter

Directions

    Season the turkey breast with salt and pepper.

    In a pan, add butter and sear the turkey breast on both sides, taking care not to let the butter burn.

    Add 1.5 dl of fresh pineapple juice, port wine and mustard, cover the pan and cook over low heat about 45 minutes.

    Add the cream and let it heat through.

    Meanwhile, cut the pineapple into slices and bring them to fry in hot butter.

    Serve the turkey breast sliced, or not, accompanied by the sauce and the fried pineapple slices.

    You can also serve it with rice and broccoli.
