Ingredients

  • 4 c. cooked, chopped turkey or chicken
  • 2 c. chopped celery
  • 4 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 6 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
  • 3 c. cooked rice
  • 4 Tbsp. chopped pimiento
  • 1 c. chow mein noodles
  • 1 c. slivered almonds

Directions

    Combine all ingredients, except chow mein noodles and slivered almonds,

    and place in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Cover with the chow mein noodles and almonds.

    Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 1 hour.

    (If frozen, bake, uncovered, at 400° for 70 minutes. Serves 12.
